Motocaddy Wins MyGolfSpy Awards Again!

The Motocaddy M7 REMOTE electric caddy has been voted the ‘Most Wanted Electric Cart’ for an unprecedented third year running by MyGolfSpy, the popular US based website with more than 78 million worldwide readers.

Finishing first in four out of five scoring categories in the recent test including, folding size, manoeuvrability, ease of use and set-up, the independent and unbiased website said of the new 2022 M7 model: ‘If you want the best electric golf cart, go for the Motocaddy M7 REMOTE. It comes with a remote that is easy to use and very responsive. After 18 holes, you can just put it away and not have to worry about charging it,  thanks to its 36-hole battery life. The M7 comes with a kickback wheel ensuring the cart never topples over on steep uphill lies. Throw in a USB charging port along with a two-year warranty and you have the winner of the 2022 Most Wanted Electric Golf Push Cart test.’

The meticulous testing consisted of 23 hours of research for all 13 products that were independently selected and tested by the MyGolfSpy staff. Metrics taken into consideration were overall trolley features, manoeuvrability, ease of use, folding size and set-up

“It’s amazing to win this award for the third year running! A big thank you to the staff at MyGolfSpy who I know test products to the absolute limit, and I’m just delighted to shout this news to our team, our customers and golfers who haven’t yet tested our fantastic products,” said Motocaddy President / GM, Americas Roger Teat.

“The R&D and innovation team in the U.K do an amazing job in bringing these carts to market that are packed full of features to improve performance out on the golf course. Our independent research shows walking with an electric cart offers significant health benefits too, so what is not to love about them?”

“You can be sure that we’re aiming for a fourth win in a row and we’re looking forward to sharing some exciting new products with golfers later this year,” he added.

The new M7 REMOTE model, launched in February this year, features new slimline all terrain sporty 5-spoke rear wheels and new anti-glare LCD widescreen display featuring an on-screen remote battery meter to ensure the wireless handset remains charged and ready for action. Operating over a significant distance, the ergonomic remote-control handset enables the golfer to move the cart in all four directions or switch smoothly from remote to manual mode and back again if needed. It also features a removable rear anti-tip wheel keeping the caddy stable through rough terrain and course undulations.

Powered by a next generation 28.8V motor system and capable of handling the tightest of turns with ease, the highly responsive cart features the latest remote technological advancements. The automatic Downhill Control (DHC) function that maintains a constant speed when going down slopes, an extra back wheel prevents it from tipping over, while all-terrain, anti-skid rear wheels ensure maximum stability.

In addition to including DHC, there is a handset lock function to prevent the handset from being engaged accidentally. Equipped with a wider wheel-base than standard M-Series models, the new M7 REMOTE has an impressive 50-meter range and is powered by two whisper-quiet 230W motors.

The sophisticated remote-control model integrates all the cutting-edge M-Series functionality, including the world’s simplest folding mechanism and innovative trunk-friendly designs such as revolutionary space-saving technology like innovative inverting wheels to fit into the tightest spaces and a convenient auto-open stand, allowing the caddy to stand upright for minimised folded footprint.
